Return Policy
Returns & Cancellations
Any order may be cancelled for a full refund until you receive an email confirmation of your shipment with tracking information. Any cancellation will incur a cancellation fee of 4.25% to cover the cost of credit card transaction. If your order has already been sent and you decide to cancel your order you are responsible for any return shipping fees in addition to the credit card cancellation fee. Please note that we have incurred the cost of the shipping to you initially and this fee will not be refunded (even though shipping is advertised as ‘free’).
Your item must be unused and in the same condition as it was when you received it to be eligible for a return. Additionally, the item must be in the original packaging. You may be charged a restocking fee of $125 at our sole discretion for any returns or exchanges.
Please do not send your purchase back to us until we have authorized the return in writing. A receipt or proof of purchase is mandatory to complete your return.
Items that are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund are accessories including batteries, chargers, pannier bags and apparel.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. A $125 restocking fee may be applied. If the bike has been in your possession for 14 days or has been ridden it will not be eligible for return.
If your refund is approved, it will be promptly processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or the original method of payment within a reasonable number of days.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are severely defective or extremely damaged. If you believe you may be eligible for an exchange or replacement, please email us at info@crookedpathebikes.com
Refused Deliveries
Please note that we cannot alter, intercept, or cancel orders that have already shipped. If you decline acceptance of a delivery upon arrival, we will consider your order as a return if it arrives back to us and issue a refund for the purchase price via your original payment method, less $125. You may also be responsible for extra shipping charges.
Credit Card Chargebacks
In the event that a customer requests a credit card chargeback on an order, the chargeback, refund, or credit will not be processed until the product has been returned to us. If we determine that the customer will retain the product, Crooked Path eBikes may suspend the warranty indefinitely at our sole discretion. Nearly always, once the chargeback is resolved the warranty will resume from the original date of shipping as outlined in the warranty without any warranty extension for the time the warranty was suspended.
